ISOPROPYL ETHER (DIISOPROPYL ETHER)
Isopropyl Ether is mainly used for solvent. It can be applied
for the extracting solvent of sodium thiocyanate in acrylic
fibre technology with the use of wet method and for the recovery
and enriching of diluted acetic acid or butyric acid. It also
can be used for the treatment of sewage with phenol in environmental
protection industry, the extraction of nicotine and tar in tobacco
industry and the extracting of medicine in medical industry.
It is the excellent solvent for grease, wax, mineral oil, some
natural resins and ethyl cellulose. Moreover, it can be used
as the synthetic materials in chemical industry.
