Isopropyl amine is a clear liquid with ammonia smell. It is an alkaline, volatile substance which can be mixed and dissolved with water, ethanol, ether, acetone and benzene, etc. Melting point: -95.2℃; Boiling point: 32.4℃; Relative Density: d²⁰₄=0.6886; Flash point (open cup): -37℃; Ignition point: 402℃; Explosion limits: 2.0%-10.4%; Refraction rate n²⁰_D: 1.3742.

Applications:

Isopropyl amine is an important organic material, which can be used in producing pesticides and used in pharmaceuticals, dyestuff intermediate, rubber promoter, hard water modified agent, metal anti-polymerized agent, surface active agent, etc. It is mainly used in pesticides.

Packing and Storage: 

It should be stored in a cool and ventilated place, avoiding kindling, heat source and direct sunshine and separately from oxidant and acids. The devices for illumination and ventilation should be flameproof. The product is a flammable and explosive liquid. It is packed with 200L iron drum or steel drum witch each 140kg net.

 Caution:

The quantitative fire appliance should be equipped. The equipment and implements that easily make parks are prohibited. Gentle portage should be made in loading and unloading to prevent the damage of package and recipient.
